this is my entry to the current less is more challenge use a frame, this adorable critter is from Clarabelle studios, I think he looks like a 1970s nerd cat, so the quote strokes his ego!
Here are some photos I took recently at Lackford Lakes in Suffolk

Spring leaf

Good day,

It has been the most beautiful spring day in Suffolk today which inspired my entry to Less is more which is Leaves using a one layer card.

I used one of my favorite nature stamps, Kelp leaves by Designs by Ryn in mown lawn distress ink and then stamped a magazine freebie for the sentiment. I love the card look at all that white space!

I am also entering this into March customer creation on the Designs by Ryn blog.

Finally I shall leave you with Bury St Edmunds basking in the spring sun!

words and jelly fish

This is my entry to Less is more, which was a sketch challenge this week. This is my take on it using new toys!
Visible Image  have wonderful new range of stamps out including this one, love sea creatures, colored with Prisma pencils.

I also made this one this entry to the That's crafty challenge Just Words
It is made using an old stencil of a tree on a dictionary page and covered with black paint then mounted on a stamped, gelato background. I highlighted some of the words and phases that caught my fancy, such as "manly attributes" "pedantic" and "tangerine."

In non craft world my Orchids have started to flower and as they love like beautiful floral aliens I thought I would share them.

Glamour and lace

I hope that storm Doris is not battering you to hard as she sweeps through the globe. I am on fence watch, hoping that our old wooden fences stay upright. I have had to lock the cat flap as the wind kept opening like a creepy hand feeling inside the kitchen with cold, drafty fingers.

Anyway here is a further entry to the Design by Ryn blog using the wonderful shell stamp, which I masked off stamped the lace over it.

My second entry to the Less is More alphabet challenge is below. I created mess and had lots of fun with brushos over some embossed Cosmo Cricket papers that I picked up cheaply at Hobby craft and here is one of the results.

and because it is HORRIBLE outside here are two images filled with sun a blue skies.

I was playing with my inkylicious stamps as my friend adores giraffes and her birthday is coming up. When I found this scrap of paper. It has the most wonderful words on it such as, Boogle, skulk, bugaboo. I had to use it.

And I loved the combination of silhouettes and words, so these followed:

I am entering the giraffes into the simply less is more challenge this week which is alphabet.

beetroot mercat

Greetings and salutations,

I have been out of touch for an age, so here is a plethora of cards.

The first is is a beetroot Mercat, the background is made with beetroot juice, it came out so much more subtle then I thought it was, so was perfect for a delicate Queen catfish.

The next is made using a tranquil esty image that I used over a lovely designs by Ryn water droplets stamps.

I have rather pretentiously called this by the moon's soft light, it is made with Lavinia stamps and one of their papers.

and I am finishing with images of a Nutlatch which I took at Lackford Lakes, is he not GORGEOUS!?
